The Green Parking Deck, Cuyahoga Falls.
The City of Cuyahoga Falls let me create a mural for a two story parking garage on Front street downtown. The garage sits adjacent to the Cuyahoga River and my approach was to highlight the local wildlife found in the area. The artwork features an array of plants, animals, and mushrooms that are drawn in a woodcut style with long flowing lines that vary in weight to show dimension. The mural is a combination of vinyl and hand painting.
"The mural features local tree leaves such as horse chestnut, birch, maple, and oak, as well as wildflowers like black-eyed Susan, purple coneflower, and the white trillium."
